Beacons is Joseph Bourgois first solo exhibition and includes a new group of lamps produced on site during a month residency. Each is made up of pre-existing structural elements on which Joseph Bourgois has carried out a series of cuts, perforations, wirings, among other actions of reconstruction informed by signal lights and urban architecture. They are part of an installation questioning the logics of autonomy and functionality behind the construction of a signal.
